The vast majority of internet users have had experience of unsolicited junk emails or have been plagued by pop-up adverts. Your computer may have fallen victim to a virus or worst case been attacked by a fraudster trying to access your personal information. What ever negative experiences you may have had, no matter how minor, you should keep yourself protected against any threats.
